Last night, I decided to take a break from packing my bag for Cabo to visit some of my favorite blogs and sites and I stumbled upon some whimsical photographs of airports around the world on one of my favorite lifestyle magazine sites SwipeLife.

The photographs of the airports, provided by TechXav, are created using a technique called HDR (High Dynamic Range), which allows the photographer to play around with light and darkness to give photos a sense of reality and illusion.




Who knew an airport could serve as a muse?

I'll let you know if the airport in Cabo is as nice as some of these.

Clearly this photographer has some kinda magical camera. I've been in a few of those airports and they don't seem nearly as vibrant in person. I do love the pics though, almost make me feel like I'm trippin' on acid.

On paper, Red Hook Summer reads like an easy coming-of-age tale. Flik (newcomer Jules Brown), a precocious, spoiled middle-class tween from Atlanta, is dropped off in Red Hook, Brooklyn by his mother (without explanation) to spend the summer with his Baptist preacher grandfather, Enoch (played with gravitas by Clarke Peters), whom he's never met. But the latest joint in Spike Lee's Brooklyn-based oeuvre is anything but simple.
