Highly Recommended: The Cove

For someone who can't swim and is afraid of the ocean, I love me some sea life.

I've been to aquariums in: New York, Boston, Chicago, Baltimore, Atlanta and Orlando to name a few.

I've been glued to the Discovery channel all week, watching any and everything Shark Week related. I can't explain it. It's just my thing.

If you love ocean life as much as I do, please check out the Oscar winning documentary The Cove.

This brilliant, gut-wrenching tour de force sheds light on a dark, top secret dolphin killing spree in Taiji, Japan.

The footage is heartbreaking, eyeopening and will leave you wanting to stand up for the helpless dolphins who are trapped, slaughtered and sold.

On paper, Red Hook Summer reads like an easy coming-of-age tale.
