Brunch Muncher

Image
It's a dreary day here in NYC today but this weekend is poised to be a stunner. I don’t know about you, but I'm already thinking about where I'll be brunching and drinking come Saturday afternoon. Folks are always asking me where they should eat. So, here's a roundup of my five favorite brunch spots in NYC (in no particular order). Remember, I'm not a professional. Just a foodie with an opinion. Enjoy.

The Woodhouse Day Spa

The moment you step foot into the lobby of The Woodhouse Day Spa in Montclair, NJ, you’re forced to use your inside voice. The crashing waves and flirty piccolos that play softly from the speakers overhead, drown out the sirens, street traffic and construction work going on outside.

Photo: S. James Last week, I attended a swanky, private editor’s tasting of Maestro DOBEL Diamond Tequila. The event was tucked away in the underground lair of Los Feliz, a chic, yet, rustic tequila bar on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, which also happens to make a mean guacamole and mini-veggie bean burrito wrap. But unfortunately, this post isn’t about food – I digress.
